Vana Trust

Enriching the lives of others

I started the Vana Trust charity in 2003, with the goal of promoting empowerment through education and enriching the lives of children and young adults.

The charity has two main projects: Vana Trust, based in Zimbabwe, and Vana Trust Farm, based in the UK. Our yearly fundraising campaign, the Walk4Difference, is a charity walk that supports both projects.

Vana Trust
Zimbabwe

Vana Trust usually focuses on children’s education in Zimbabwe. The charity has sponsored over a thousand children, providing them access to opportunities to achieve a better future.

During the pandemic, it is estimated that over half the population in Zimbabwe will be affected by starvation, and since all the schools are closed, our first priority is feeding children and families, since this is a basic necessity for them to be able to survive. With just $1 you can feed one family for a day. Please consider making a donation, your support matters.

Vana Trust
UK

Through the charity farm, we provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues to come and work on the farm, to grow organic fruit and vegetables and to help look after the animals. Our aim is for those attending to develop new skills, gain confidence, improve physical fitness and reduce feelings of anxiety, tension and isolation. Opportunities are given to be part of a team and to connect with others.

In 2020, we are creating new outdoor facilities for those learning new skills at the farm. Please consider making a donation, your support matters.

Walk4
Difference

Our Walk4Difference campaign has brought together hundreds of people from different countries with a single goal: Making a difference.

The money raised through the Walk4Difference campaign goes to feed the hungry in Zimbabwe and create the new facilities needed at the farm. Please consider making a donation, every little bit helps.
